i'm proud to announce its french pâtissière :P ..strawberry mille-feuille with puff pastry
the earlier one i made in april was Chou Mille-feuille using choux pastry, the same pastry for cream puff..to think of it since its the same basic pastry..cream puff would probably be in my upcoming recipe
preparation of custard 。。
step one: whisking the basic ingredients for custard..
step two: prepared seperately, the double cream n milk is to be heated on the stove
steps three n four: combine the above n sieve over to the pot which is to be heated again
once heated, the custard will thicken..
afterwhich to place the pot over iced water n the custard's ready..
meanwhile..
baking the puff pastry
bought korean strawberries..the strawberries are petite..cute! bought blueberries too..should have saved them for another recipe..blueberry crumble..eh next time..
the last step's simple..pipe the custard over the puff pastry n top with strawberries~
