★ Cheese Potato Bread ★

★ Pineapple bread ★



everything's fine..just dread the measurement..two different sets of ingredients for the dough..that really took a while.
the bread is kneaded in the bread machine..talking abt convenience :)



the top pastry just need simple whisking.. ♪



after the bread proofs..the final step is to cover the bread dough with the sweet dough and to proof again before baking. actually the steps are quite similar to melonpan..will try melonpan next time ;)

★ Sesame bread ★



the last few recipes' got too much double cream..opting for something healthier for this week..black sesame and rye flour~♥
turns out great..the bread's crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside.. :)



the preparation is similar to the earlier soft bread..but a longer kneading time is needed..a good whole 20 mins! good thing i left the kneading to the bread machine..heh

★ Gâteau Chocolat ★



didnt blog this earlier..baked this Gâteau Chocolat almost year back, in fact this was one of the first baking recipes i've tried..there's a similar recipe from the meiji chocolate jp url. but in a smaller variation

the webbie's in japanese, i did a little translation on the ingredients with a little help from AltaVista Babel Fish..heh :P but a few translation in english did not come with the right baking terms, i amended that, so its my credit too!~ :)

小さなガトーショコラ Small gâteau chocolate
Difficulty ★★☆☆☆
明治ミルクチョコレート:70g(1枚分) 明治純ココア:45g 卵黄:3個分 上白糖:40g 無塩バター:60g 生クリーム:大さじ3 薄力粉:20g
Meiji milk chocolate: 70g (equivalent of 1) Meiji pure cocoa: 45g Yolk: Equivalent of 3
Sugar: 40g Unsalted butter: 60g Double cream: 3 tbsp Cake flour: 20g

★ matcha ice cream ★



similiar steps to the strawberry ice cream..got the ujinotsuyu matcha powder at the japanese supermart..premium grade :P



but matcha seems to take a longer time on thickening when cooked over the pot..


but all's well..after 6 hrs of freezing the matcha turned out nicely~ ♪ *yumz*

★ deep dark chocolate truffles ★



bring the double cream to boil..


whisk the chocolate conventure


added 30ml of liquor.. using premium cognac xo~♪ this adds to a glossier texture
chill the truffles, after which shape the chocolate n sieve cocoa powder over *which can get real messy*


looking great at all angles ;)

★ strawberry ice cream ★



doubt there's a need to buy a conventional ice cream maker just yet..initial steps are real easy..


bring the milk to boil..meanwhile whisk sugar n egg yolks


mix the above n cook over a pot of simmering water till volume doubles, add the strawberries


whisk the double cream n add to the above, then simply feeze the ice cream :)
